Pics

As I've gone back and looked at pictures, I've realized the need to label them and do it fast!
Matt and Will look so much alike sometimes and actually Matt looks so much like Charlie's baby pictures, it is nuts. So, I've "tagged" all my pictures in PICASA. There is a link to the right hand side of this page to NYSTROM PICTURES BY PICASA. You can look at those pictures as a slideshow OR open up an album and scroll through 1 by 1. If you look at the album's, you can scroll over a face and see a tag. Also, you can see all the people in our pictures listed on the right.
It's a pretty cool feature!

It is hump day here. We are thinking we are going to the beach this weekend to get some things in order and for a change of scenery!
Matt is rolling over like crazy. We can't hardly keep him on his stomach b/c he will flip over!

Bowling

Charlie's preschool had a bowling event yesterday at the local alley. Charlie thoroughly enjoyed himself although it took his ball a while to make it to the end... I was hoping the bumpers would be set up the whole time, but technology is more advanced and they were set to go back down for my turn! I think we scored about the same!

Turns out, he doesn't have strep. The 48 hr culture came back negative. So really he has only had it twice. The last 2 times have been pseudo strep. Look like it, but really just something viral.
The babes are doing great. Will wonders why he is in a purple bumbo, but otherwise they are great :o)
Both are talking/cooing quite a bit and we can't believe they will be 4 months old FRIDAY!

when I say we're healthy...

Know that it comes with a time constraint... Was sitting with Charlie Wed. night and could see the fever coming over him. He tested positive for strep again Thurs morning. This is the 3rd official time, but he also had another case where he tested positive although the 48 hr culture came back negative - I wonder if it was right?
We may very well be looking at a trip to the ENT to consider tonsils out or tubes in, but good grief... Some days it's all we can do to pee.

Jon is upstairs with 3 boys and I am baricaded in the basement working.
I will be glad for 5:00. Mexico here we come! (the restaurant that is...).

Not much new!

Everyone here is happy and healthy. My fingers are crossed that will last longer than a day!

We had a visit from Jon's Uncle Joe on Monday while Linda was babysitting, lots of fun.

The babies have been eating really well - they are really hungry and haven't even been waiting 3 hrs the past day and a half. Maybe they are going through a growth spurt. While Will has always had a nice round belly, Matt's seems to be filling out and his hair doesn't seem to be keeping up with his head growing :o) They are still in 0-3 month clothes but I think just about ready to move into 3-6 months...

Charlie has been having a good week at school. I ran in this morning to get him out of bed for our 5 min. of snow. He was excited. Oh but global warming... where is the accumulation this year...

Last Sat.

Last Sat. Grandma W with Matt
Aunt Margaret & Aunt Alice with Will

Recent walks (our new style of getting out)

Our new double stroller!!!

Recent pics.

Matt sitting up / Will with Charlie & Mom
It really is hard to believe how quick all our boys are growing up! Matt & Will are both kicking up a storm these days. Funny how quick things change. Matt has rolled over and is always turning his head around when he sits in the bouncy. We think he wants to lay on his tummy? either that or is looking for his pacifier. We wonder if Will will go back to sleeping through the night. He wakes up ferociously hungry between 3:30-4:00 a.m. At least Matt is sleeping through and Jon & I alternate who gets up...

Getting ready...

I had a great time Sat. at Laura's baby shower! We had a few folks gather at Feathernester's tea room and it was a fun day. Laura & Tommy have the nursery painted so cute and it is ready to go for our little niece's arrival!
(L to R, mom, Elizabeth, Alice, Laura, Margaret, Me & Betty)

It was a nice weekend all around... made it to Mexican for our usual Friday night tradition pre-twins and managed well with extra company. Also spent some time 4 wheeling in our new double jogger Sat. & Sun.
Love the spring weather!
Jon took the babes to the Dr. today, both were coughing a little more so worried that something had changed, but the pediatrician told Jon it was likely the congestion breaking up... Matt weighed 13 lb 10 oz and Will 14 lb 10 oz.
So, you can guess who decides to wake up for an extra feeding from time to time in the middle of the night...

PS, yes Joe has competition

Charlie LOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Elizabeth! Joe is lucky it is a round dining room table and that he gets to sit on the other side of her :o)

Life is good

Just wanted to update, all is pretty good here. I am on Day 4 of work and adjusting ok. Luckily, I am still catching up and flying under the radar a bit, so haven't gotten too stressed.

Our nannies have been here and taking good care of Matt & Will. We think they are much better, but still snorkly along with Charlie too. He tested positive for strep the 3rd time this week - we are waiting on results from a more extensive culture to see if it really was positive...

Excited for this weekend, for those that didn't know, my sister Laura is pregnant!!! Due on Charlie's 3rd birthday, April 16th. How cool is that? and we are having a baby shower Sat.

Also, another Wood announcement if you didn't know. Joe & Elizabeth are engaged!!!
